If there's one thing we think DanceMom.com does pretty well, it's provide you -- our readers -- with a forum to express your views about everything related to dance.  In 2006 we conducted our first comprehensive reader survey of dance competitions, and you told us which competitions you loved, which ones you sort of liked, and which ones you wouldn't return to again.  We did it again in 2007, and you responded in even larger numbers.  Competitions took notices of the results, as studios began factoring our results into their selection of which events to attend.

Now we're back with a whole new survey for 2008! 

We're conducting this year's survey a little earlier than we have in the past -- giving you the chance to rate last year's competitions while they're still fresher in your mind and providing you with the results earlier so they can help inform decisions on where your studio goes in the year ahead.

Below you will find a survey form you can use to rate more than 100 dance competitions.  For any competition you attended in the last year, we invite you to provide that competition with a rating.  We think you'll find the scoring familiar, since we've employed the Platinum-Gold-Silver-Bronze scale that most competitions today seem to prefer.  If you attended a competition that you don't see on our list, please drop us a note so we can add it.

We also encourage you to provide constructive comments about the competitions.  Much in the way you expect competition judges to provide comments in support of their scoring, your constructive comments on this survey can help to improve dance competitions for everyone.
